60 Minutes | Studying dogs may reveal path to longer, healthier life for dogs, humans
March 22nd, 2026
The Dog Aging Institute is proud to support the groundbreaking work featured in this week’s 60 Minutes segment on the Dog Aging Project. Our funding helps power the Project’s mission to understand how dogs age, and how we can help them live longer, healthier lives.
We’re also thrilled to share that one of our trainee grant recipients, Stephanie Hargrave, co-designed the cognitive assessments seen in the segment. Stephanie is a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Evan MacLean’s lab at the University of Arizona. You can read more about her work HERE
Our trainee grants invest directly in graduate students, post-docs, and early‑career scientists who are shaping the future of canine aging research.
Moments like this national spotlight show just how far your generosity reaches. Every gift helps accelerate aging research, support young scientists, improve the healthspan of the dogs we love, and advance aging science for all.
