Dr. Daniel Promislow is a co-founder of the Dog Aging Institute and a Professor at the University of Washington.
The Dog Aging Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The Institute provides support for research and education related to understanding the determinants of health and longevity of companion dogs, with relevance to human healthspan. The overarching goal of this work is to increase both healthspan and lifespan in companion animals and in humans. The Dog Aging Institute provides grants to support scientific research in this area. Indirect costs for all grants from the Dog Aging Institute may not exceed 10%.
