Mac
In memory of Mac, our loyal Appenzeller Senenhund. She was the best dog we could ever ask for and miss her every day. She traveled around the country with us and never left our side for 15 years.

In memory of my beloved companion, Stuart. Smart, friendly, adaptable, loved to explore and happy as long as he got to be included.
In Norse mythology, Baldr means “bright white light god.” When we came to the idea of the same name independently upon rescuing our hero boy, we knew his name was meant to be.
Baldr made us a pack of 5 in 2017. Part throw-pillow, part quiet alpha, he was estimated to be 1 year old on September 27, 2016 when a Good Samaritan pulled him out of a backyard breeder situation and ensured he received his first actual vet care.
This happy, calm boy only snapped out of his chillness when it was time for a walk or if a Mintie was about to be shared with him and his siblings.
Baldr and his chosen human, his dad Josh, shared deep and abiding joy and love as a pet therapy team. He may have liked socializing with other dogs in our volunteer pet therapy certification work even more than his pet therapy work with humans.
Baldr burrowed his way forever into your heart the moment he waved his paw at you as you headed over to pet him. He always wanted to be in the same room with his humans, but never on top of them/too cuddly.
When his beloved Dad was able to work from home, Baldr would play bow as he wrapped up to ensure fun wrestling before his sister Skadi’s (also named for Norse mythology) FOMO kicked in.
During an Iowa derecho, a word we didn’t know until it hit us, Baldr stomped his mom down to the ground while his now late sister undergoing cancer treatment slept and his stubborn brother ran to each window to learn more,
Baldr would not do business #2 on walks. He lovingly rotated his business on each of 100+ hosta and lily plants pictured behind him. Hostas never had had it so good with Baldr’s help!
Baldr made our lives infinitely better. We will love and miss him always and can’t wait to see him at the rainbow bridge!
In memory of our beloved Cartman (Lab/Pit, aka Mr. Puppy). Adopted as a pup from our local shelter, he showed his gratitude for that second chance every day, faithfully serving the household with unconditional love and selfless devotion for over 13 years.
A two-time graduate of Barkbusters, he was a versatile communicator with an extensive vocabulary, loved swimming in the pool and long walks, was strong willed but gentle, nearly reformed as a food thief (kept his fondness for sticks of butter), and enjoyed car rides, making nearly 600 trips to/from Tallahassee, and later, multiple trips to SC and NJ, where we lived temporarily for the Daddy’s projects.
To his final day, Cartman showered his affection on us with licks to the ears and followed the Mommy everywhere, always ready to assist.
We believe Cartman’s exemplary life earned him a warm welcome in the afterlife, where he is now free to walkabout and run at will, bark without shushing, swim in the pool no matter the season, and enjoy endless bowls of chicken. We miss you Mr. Puppy and we’ll see you again.
In memory of Daphne, who was with me for 16 years. I had never connected so deeply with an animal before. I miss you so much.
It is really hard to describe how much Axl meant to us, and how hard it was to say goodbye. Every day with him was a gift. He was absolutely the sweetest boy. He loved treats, snuggles, and walks – but most of all he loved being outside and playing ball. The backyard, and our hearts, feel empty without him. We will always love you, Axl.
In memory of the wonderful Stella, family to Stina, and BFF to NapaTheLab. Forever in our hearts, even when she earned her nickname Stella-Monster!
Oh Cooper, where do I even begin? You were my best companion for over 15 years. You were never far from my side. Thank you for the countless memories, the miles of walks, the hours of fetch, and nights of sleeping by my side. You will constantly be in my thoughts and heart until we meet again.
In honor of my beloved companion. Cooper is my best buddy. We walk, run, play and snuggle everyday. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do to keep him safe and live a long healthy life.
In honor of my beloved baby girl. You were my “soul dog” and life without it hard sometimes, but I will always treasure and be grateful for the nine years we had. I will always love you. ❤️🐶
In memory of our beloved companions. Pearl & Piper were found abandoned in Wewoka, OK in 2010. They were so much fun, and so much work! We miss them terribly, but love our memories with them. Pearl died in 2019 and Piper died in 2021. Love, Kim & Lori
Our distinguished gentleman, Cabot, gave us 14 years and 8 months of love, companionship, and wonderful memories. He loved the snow, proudly carried around his dad’s work glove, and preferred walking alongside us to riding in a wagon, even in his later years. After overcoming a serious illness at just six years old, we shared another eight and a half beautiful years together. We miss our sweet boy terribly and will always treasure the life we shared.
In memory of Tessa, full of love and truly a Dog of All Trades. We love her and miss her.

Holly made me grateful for her presence every day, because she greeted me like The Beatles every time I walked in the door. She is deeply missed.
Neutron was my soul dog from the moment I saw him, dirty and cowering in the back of the kennel at the shelter. He was slated for euthanasia that day, but came home with me instead. We had ten wonderful years together. He was big brother to numerous foster pups and kittens, protected me, comforted me, and loved me unconditionally. I introduced him to his first squeaker toy and the comfort of a pillow-covered bed with fuzzy blankets. Cancer may have given him his wings, but no matter how much time passes, he’ll always be with me.
I wasn’t looking for a dog when he found me, but I couldn’t resist the big ears, soulful eyes, and tragic backstory. Dobby was rescued from a hoarding situation in Texas. He was scared and malnourished, not used to people, with multiple scars. It took him a long time to truly open up, but he is the most loving, goofy, hopeful dog I’ve ever met. The first time he wagged his tail, I nearly cried; now he waggle-waggles all the time, even when drinking from his favorite water bowl. He also found his voice, which is a bit houndy, and he loves to talk when excited.
Though he has a thyroid condition, arthritis, and dementia now, he still carries around his favorite toy (the first toy he ever had), loves snuggling with his grandma, and will do the full-body happy dance when he gets his favorite treat. Every day, he brings joy and hope to my life, and I can’t imagine the world without him.
